Objectives
MAIN OBJECTIVES A1
• To understand basic words and expressions about personal details and family;
• To understand well-known names, words and simple sentences;
• To communicate in a basic way about a concrete need;
• To use simple sentences and expressions to describe residence location and people;
• To write small texts, fill a form with personal information.

MAIN OBJECTIVES A2
• To understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance.
• To understand and read advertisements or messages with simple, short and clear messages.
• Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
• To describe in simple terms aspects of oneself background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need.
• To write short and simple notes or messages about short term needs.
Guidelines
This courses approches themes realted to patterns and quality of life, like travelling and holidays, Shops and shopping, beverages and food, festivities and music, in a social perspective and vocabulary widening.
Through this theme context it´s intended that the student understands several kind of texts in different types of sources,
Support Material / Methodologies
O formando desenvolve a sua aprendizagem contactando com usos motivados da língua e realizando actividades e tarefas significativas no âmbito da comunicação simulada e/ou real, sendo essencial o contacto com a língua estrangeira e a sua utilização em situações diversificadas, através de:
- textos orais e escritos autênticos e/ou fabricados e seleccionados em função de uma progressão;
- exploração de documentos: apresentação, explicação, aplicação sistemática, produção;
- participação em tarefas a realizar individualmente ou em grupo;
- pesquisa individual dirigida;
- Audios com diálogos de falantes francófonos (interacção*, conversas telefónicas, faxes, intercâmbios) e Internet;

Os métodos utilizados são expositvos, através da projeção de imagens e da exposição da matéria; ativos, através da participação dos alunos em exercícios práticos e conversação.
